IN THE CROWN COLONIES.

And be it further enacted, That the keeper or his assistant shall not be authorized or required to give an official copy of any partial extract, but that the document, be it will, bill of sale, deed of gift, mortgage, marriage settlement, power of attorney, graut of lands or location of works, message of any superintendent, report of any committes, proceedings of any trial in any of our courts, or evidence given therein, decision of magistrates in cases of wreck, and to settle salvage or any other cases whatever, shall be given entire.

And any individual not requiring an official copy shall, under the inspection ad in the presence of the keeper or his assistant, be permitted to take notes, extract or copies thefrom, in pencil, as he may think fit, he paying for every note or extract the sum of is. 3 d.,or if more than one page, at the rate of 1 s. 8 d. per page; such non-official extract or copy not to be received in any of our courts, or admitted as evidence therein, any law, usage, custom or relation to the contrary notwithstanding.
