ROCDESSFUL MEETING. As though to make up for the untoward conditions that had already caused the postpone mont of the Gymkhana, this weather on Saturday was at its best-not too warm, but with ma occasional breeze that added to the pleasantness of the day. The attendance, however, like that on the occasion of the first Gymkhans, was not so good as it might have been, and this is alt the more surprising when thosttractive nature of the programma is considered. The ladies turned out were wory well, though, and, arrayed In their most attractive dresses, imparted an addi tional pleasure to the meeting. HF the Governor was in time to witness the first event, and waited till the numbers for the last race bad gone up. The band of the 22nd Bombay Infantry, by their excellent performance, gave the finishing touch to posedings that can only be characterised as thoroughly enjoyable. Not hitch occurred.
