BY CHINESE NEW YEAR:-The Pot Office will be entirely dosed on Tuosday, the 19th inst Should the Empress of Japan arrive on that day, the malls brought by hor will be kept over to be dealt with on tis following morning. On Wednesday, the 20th, the office will be kept open from 7 to 11:30 am, mely for the despatch of the outgoing Gorman Mail. The Money Under Office will be closed on both days.
The Gachie, with the American Mail left hanghai on Friday, the 15th inst., at 6 pm, and may be expected here to-day
The Hongkong Mare, with the American Mail of the 24th ult., left Yokohaoin on Wednesday, the 13th inst., at daylight, and may be expected here on or abont Wednesday, the 20th inst.
