WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 15 intituled "An Ordinance to establish a Supreme Court of Judicature at Hongkong," it is by section 11 enacted and ordained amongst other things that the sheriff of Hongkong or bis Deputy shall execute all writs, summonses, rules, orders, warrants, commands, and processes of the Supreme Court of flongkong." And whereas it is expedient to alter the same so far as regards the service of the process under the summary jurisdiction of the said Court. It is therefore ORDERED, That the service and execution of all summonses, processes, notices, rules, and orders under the summary jurisdiction of the said Supreme Court shall be by the Bailiff, or other person duly appoin- ted by the said Court, and not by the Sheriff of Hongkong or his Deputy; and that the said bailiff or other person duly appointed by the said Court shall forthwith make a return of the same together with the manner of the service and execution thereof to the said Court, and for every such service and execution a fee of fifty cents and no more shall be taken and allowed.
