LXIX. And be it enacted and ordained, That this Ordinance shall commence and come into Operation as to all Matters not otherwise provided for on the 1st day of June, 1846.

I have the honor to enclose a
statement of the first half year's receipt
or
account of the Blice Rate, under Ordinance
N2 of 1045, showing that the gross amount
1only £809. In the new Assessment to be presently
for the first six months was
made, the valuations will have reference to
the real existing amount of Rental, not subject to any deduction, and it may be expected that this, combined with the increased number of tenements completed and in occupation, will have the effect of
materially increasing the receipts.
