The Siamese brig Starlight reporta left Hong kong on 5th August, bound to Bangkok, and had Westerly and S. Westerly winds and squally weather till the 1st September when the wind seered to the N.W. with a four-knot brouse with Bijualls. At 9:33 am, in lat. 11 N. and long, 114 E. a forious squall struck the ship, crying sway the fore mast ten feet above the deck, and the head of the main-mast just above ayan of the rigging also the jibbcom jury este wore at-once rigged and the reasal put back to Hongy kong; arrived in Hingkong on the forenoon of the lith instant. Nocary was damaged.
