The British stemmer drefurus reports lell Calcutta at 10p. on the 8th July; arrived at Pepang at 7.208. on 14th, and left same day at 3 p.m.; arrived at Singapore on the 16th at 6.40 a.m., and Lift on the 17th at 6:45 a.m. Hlað moderate 3.5.W. to W.ST. wiuds till the 22nd, when got very thick weather with burd aquallo from the N.W, and continual rain to arrival. Passed three steamers, one just North of Singa- pure, steering for Singapore, another off Palo Sapato, on the 19th, stoering Senth, and third between the Macclesfield Bank and the Paracels, on the 22nd, steering Shib, all un: known. On the 2nd passed a deep ladered American built sailing ship, stæring for Høne." koug, and a bark on the 23rd, steering toward Hongkong..
The British steamer Glengle reports left Shanghai stÀ pr. on the 16th July, with very low barometer; passed the lightship at 7.
