The British steamship Faso reports left Fruehow on 20th October, Amey on the 22nd, and Swatow on the 23rd, had experienced light | N. Easterly winds and weather throughout; the steamers Kibangtwry aud Riya were ja Amoy, when Years left, the atongsor. Pavmara left Amoy on the 21st for Forma; H.M, ship Ocean, with Amival K. Hett, was to leave on ibe 22nd for Hongkong. The steamer Easteris Inlee in passing through Haitan Struita struck on a sunken roek, and had to put back to Amoy and discharge herenrge. The abip Tartar, from Facehow to Shanghai, drove on shore on the 6th on Tongyang Island, and was abati doned,
The N, G. schooner San Franciscs reports; left Newbwang 11th Oct., with fine Northerly and N.E. wind, which hauled round to the West- ward, cleared the Shantung Promoney in 36 hours, wind remaining West with overcast sky, bata fine bowing breeze, fifth day mesed the parrellel of Shanghai; since thes à fair N.B Dansoor eet in, which brought the vessel down to this port, without sœuruely touching a race. Ships left in port: English brig Niad and Eng- lith brig Fairy Queen, and one three-masted schooner name unknown. Also an American gun-boat name unknown.
