The British steamship Mudesa, from Yoko- hara on 19 September, reports the Arat part of passage light variable winds, mostly from the West, Intter part Northerly winds: pasted the Emer off Pyramid Point on the 4th, at pm. passed the steamap Suwanda, on 4th at 3,80 p.m., off Qacency.
The British back Ellen Blouse, from Cardif on 1st May, reports bad as weather to the Equator, which was aroased on the 3rd June, in lug. 24 W.; from thence to the Cape of Good Hope had brade winds, passed the meri- dian of the Cape on the 16th, in lat. 38.58 8 thence had light variable winds to Java Hend on 2nd Sept. passed Anjer on the 3rd; and Gaspar Straits on the 9th; had squally weather up the China Sea to lat. 175K lon. 115:55. E, then had N.B. monsoon fill arrival in Hongkong: spoke the British bark Prince
