•EXTRACTING A LION'S TOOTH. The Glasgow Herald relates a story of the extraction of a lion's booth in a monagerie in that city. The Hen having been necured with ropes, the doctor mounted on a tub in front of tha cage, and immediately sot to work. 4 piece of wood was placed to the lion's mouth, and at once the beast mude a soap. Then a pitchfork was held up, and placed in the month, kept it open, while the side was thorough- Afterwards the doctor, pnahing ly washed.
