Arrangements baving been made by the Frouch Piet Office for embarking and dinem- barking the British Overland Maia to and from Fragee at Brindisi, thereby necessitating the payment by the French Post Office of a transit rate to the Italian Post Office, it has been de- termined to augment the rate of pcatage on letters exchanged in the direct Mails between Hongkong and the French Post Office.
