The British barque Ardentinny reports left Cape St. James on the 11th Jane, moderate W. winds until Cape Varela on the 13th, then frosh from N.W., increasing to a gale on the 14th and 15th, with exconding heavy rain, and gross per froms N.E. and N.W rounded to the wind twice vice to keep the ship behind the body of the gale: supposing it to be a cyclone; on the 16th hauled to the Southward, in int 17.40 N, and long. 11320 E, found the sea eziyomely crosU from N.W. and N.E., abip rolled terribly, al ways covered with water, on the 17th moderate.
The French bark Afoune left Hongkong for Saigon or the 9th instant, pat back on account of the pups sensing to deliver water, having ex- paricnoed a typhoon from 8.3. from 38th to 15th instant.
The French bark Jaques Seurin reparts, left Cape St. James on the 8th instant; in lat, 14 to 15 N. and long. 110 and 111 E. of Paris encountered hard gale from N. and, N.N.W veoring by W. to &; here to during three days, wearing hip us prudent.
The Frack bark Pounarsu reports left Cape St. Jame on the 1f encountered a beavy gale on the 14th, from W. veering. Wi, which lasted 4 hours the heaviest of it being for eight; on making the Ladrone. Ielands found bad weather from N., which oldiged the ship to bear and ran out from the Leum, after which the wind abifted left about to 8. On this 19th, signalled the French barque Muris, in lat, 39.60, long, 11314 E of Paris.
