TEMPLE ROOK.—A buoy, painted red, has been placed in position to mark the Southern extremity of Temple Rock. This rook is covered. 9 feet at Low Water Springs.. The buoy is in 43 fathome at Low Water, and ahould be left on the Starboard hand by vessels entering.
SPITEFUL ISLAND PASS-A nun buoy, painted red, marka the extremity of the rock- oa the Starbourd side of this passage, entering, and one of the same form, with red and white vertical stripes, marka the outer edge of the rooke on the Port wide of the passage. Tho first of those rocks is, ooverol 7 feot, and the second 9, feat at Low Water. The buby on the Starboard sido cf the passage is în 4) fathoms, and the one on the Port side 3 lathoms at Low Water.
CAUTION.
On account of the violent eddy surronte about these rocks vessels should if possible al ways pass midway between the buoja.
