A Convention has been signed by Lord Cromer, the British Ministor in Egypt, and Boutros Pasha, the Egyptain Minister for Foreign Affairs. The agreement defines the limits of the Soudur, and includes Yady Halfa ard Sunkia in the new administration, which in to be distinct from that of Egypt. I excludes the Sondan from the jurisdiction of the Mixed Tribunals and provides for the suprema power being vaskodus Governor-General, who is to the by appointed by the Khedive with consent of Ureat Britain with liberty to ulier Jawa, by proclamation.
