and - Stamp Duty payable - the Instruments appointing Mr Bruce, Major Caine, and Lieut. Podder, to the Offices they hold in the Colony, to be repaid to Mr Smith, Chief Clerk of the Colonial Office.
I have, therefore, directed Mr Bruce to enclose the Certificate of payment, signed by Deputy Commissary General Miller, and addressed to the Lords Commissioners of Her Majesty's Treasury, to Mr Smith to whom Their Lordships will pay that amount.
