In the case of the Kingston Cetten Mills winding-up, it was discovered that the manager had supplied the auditors with a false certificate as to the amount of stock hand for a series of years. Mr. Justice Vaughan Williams found that the diters had not tsud kul.cient or reasonable skill and awo in the matter, that they did not check the stock, and bold them liable for the payment of certain dividends. The Lords Justices now found that the duties auditors were not en onerous as Mr. Justin Veughan Williams and thought.
