I am directed by His Excellency the Governor in Council to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of the 19 Ultimo, with its enclosed original one (herewith returned) from Lieut.-Colonel Jervois regarding a Police Station at Chuck Choo, and am to inform you that the necessary steps will be taken for having one built so soon as a site is fixed on and the Estimate prepared and passed.
