The Burial Ground is at present, as you are aware, in charge of the Land Officer's Department and His Excellency would wish this arrangement to continue until he shall have received the instructions above alluded to.

In reply to your letter No:27 of the 22th Instant, I am directed to inform you that His Excellency the Governor in Council is satisfied with the description of the fire proof safe which you have furnished and is pleased to sanction the sum of Three Hundred Dollars ($300) for its purchase.
