I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of this date forwarding an Abstract of the expense of your Office Establishment pour the 20th of August, 1843, to the 28th of February 18441., amounting to One Hundred and thirteen Dollars, and including item of Eighty Dollars for the Salary of your Clerk for days ... and two ... an ... for the period of one month at the rate of Seventy five Dollars per mouth.
His Excellency the Governor in Council is pleased to sanction the expense and I am directed to inform
