the ground composing the lots that were granted to Captain Maclehose, and a great deal more in that quarter of the Colony is included in what the Officer Commanding the Royal Engineers has recommended shall be set apart exclusively for Ordnance (Military) purposes, and that it is therefore probable, that no part of it will be available in any way pending a reference to Her Majesty's Government, with whom the decision on the above recommendation, rests.
