My Lord,
I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of Your Lordship's letter of yesterday's date on the Subject of a piece of Land in the Cantonment which had been granted to Captain Sparks of St. M's 40th Regiment and which he most improperly (and as far as I am at present informed unauthorizedly) sold to the Edwards.
