I have the honour to intimate to you that Captain his Excellency Herbert Kitchener has been so good as to arrange for the professional aid of Dr. Vandeleur at present a supernumerary assistant surgeon to H. M. S. Merlin being rendered available for the civil duties of this island including the Police, Harbour Master's Office and Marine Magistrate and Harbour Department.
