form, which I wrote to Lord Menborough

Your Lordship respectively,

and to

the 3rd and 14 of this month; and to those extracts I will only add

my

solemn

and unprejudiced opinion, that whatever

Honor and Advantage of Her Majesty's Crown and Subjects.

I have the

(Signed) Henry Pottinger,

Chief Superintendent.

P.S. Whilst this Despatch was in

the course

of preparation, I received a letter from Mr. Johnston explaining his motive for having granted additional land to, of which I

beg

to transmit a

copy.

(Signed) H.P.

(True Copy.)
