I have to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of this day's date, and in reply I am directed to inform you that His Excellency Sir Henry Pottinger is pleased to sanction your application, that you may be permitted to entertain daily gang of 70 Coolies for the repair of the Road to Tytam, and to line with stone the Channels of all drains that may require that precaution.
