Free; and to desire that you will, in conformity with the arrangement therein made forward all mails specially addressed to the Land Force to the Military Post-Office established under the orders of Major General Burrell, C. B., commanding the division of the Force in this place.

I should add that (agreeable to the verbal arrangement already made with you) you will receive monthly, at this office, One Hundred Dollars ($100) - to be accounted for as in charge of the Post Office, assisting clerk, and for Coolies to distribute letters as under.
