In its "Notes from Kewloon" the Regimental News sayOn the night of the 15th October we caught a pretty sararo gale. Some said it was the tail of a typhoon, but we think that if it was the tail we should not like to get the body. It started about 6 pm and gradually increased during the night, accompanied by heavy rain. About 12 midnight the first tent collapsod barging ite occupants below it; as soon unit fell sgrand charge was made from below it to the 29.97 verandahs, some with their beds in their arms and come with their clothon, causing great fra amongst the remainder of the troops in camp.
