Tin the stove Colony, having bectus gar
randed by a dense pupalation of Chiness of the poorer classes, it is found difficult to knop it in a condition of docensy and cleanliness ; 1r 19 THEREFORE NOTIFIED that it is-proposed re verently and decently to remove all monuments and tombatones in such Cometary, as well as all remains-which may be found there, totho wxisting Colonial Cemetery in the Happy Valley, where such remains will be re-interved.
The monuments will be repaired and groupe! round & plain memorial stone on which it wil be
stated from what part of the Colony they have bean removed.
Survivors, friends, or relatives who may desice to make any objection to this removal, ara re quested to address the Colonial Secretary of Hong kong within six months from this dide
