The British steamer Whampco, from Fosshow 19 Jy, porta had freeb monsoon during pas- sage. Picked up five fishermen off water logged bout 12 miles to the northward of Brocker Point.
The British steamer Ozcanic reports that the left San Francisco on the 30th June, at 3.41 pm. Arrived at Yokohazos at 9.08 am, 18th July, bad moderate winds and fire weather throughout the panenge Time 15 days, 3 hours, and 59 miantes. Left Yokohama on the 17th July, at 7.17 p., had moderate winds and fine weather to Van Dieman's Straita; from Van Dieman's Straite to Chapel Island strong to moderate 6.8.W. winds with frequent heavy rain squalls from westward; from thence to port light 3.W. winds and showary weither, moderate swell.
