for the guidance of the Land Officer in charge of the same,
a copy of which I have now

as well as a memorandum in some measure explanatory of my reasons for such regulations. There

it requisite to make in respect to the Bargar that
Enclosure is already established.

to add that my experiment in
regard to employing the labourers from one of the
villages spoken of in my letter has had the effect I anticipated.
I can now get as many coolies to work
on
the roads as we
could obtain, but fine men
at the rate of

for one dollar per
month, an
