Had heavy aqualls from westward in Mindoro Boswith torrents of rain, thunder and lightning. Had light variable winds and calms with fine weather themes to arrival. On the 4th August passed the str. Tsinan, in lat. 8.4 N. and long. 129 E., from Hongkong for Sydney.
