The British steamer Thales, Irom. Taiwanfon 5th August, and Anoy 6th, reports had moderate S.V. winds and fine weather.
The British steamer Vortigers, from Bangkok 31st July, reports had squally and rainy weather in Gulf of Siam: from thence to Hongkong light southerly winds and fine weather. On the 1st August spoke the str. Mongkut, in lat. 10.20 N. and long. 102.27 E, bound to Bangkok.
