Officers incapacitated from injuries and in the execution of their duty, or illness arising from the Climate, should the Revenue of Hong Kong be adequate to the Charge.
2. The officers could be entitled to Superannuation Allowances under the Act 4 & 5 W. 4 C. 24 provided they contribute a proportion of their Salaries to the Superannuation Fund.
3. Under existing Regulations Relating to Superannuation or Retired Allowances it appears that Pay received for Services in the Metropolitan Police could not be taken into account in calculations for retired Allowances.

In respect to the Force it is impossible at present to state what accommodation may be provided, N.R., but it will probably hereafter be necessary to provide a Barrack for the Police, if one has not already been provided, in which case the Superintendent and Sergeants will, every year be furnished with Arms in the Building at the expense of passage.

6. If they are transferred from the Metropolitan Police they will receive their Pay from the Revenues of Hong Kong although it will be reimbursed by the Colonial Government.
