not seem just that the

Government of Hong Kong

should bear the whole Expense of pensions a large part of which might probably have been earned

7. Military Stanley, therefore, desires

to propose for the

consideration of the Secretary

that whenever an Individual, having served in the army is discharged

to the Police Force and in Hong Kong shall whether from length of service or the cause

of service become entitled to pensions such proportion of those pensions, as may be equivalent to the length of the Military service of the Individual shall be paid from Military Funds. The remaining portion being defrayed from the Revenues of the Colony.
