Having laid before the Lord Commissioners my dispatch of the 3rd Instant relative to the Section of Sta. Cruz, I have received their Lordships' instructions, directed by their Lordships to me for the information of the Governor, that in the absence of any such information as to the extent of accommodation that could be provided therein for Protestant Church purposes, Sir Henry Pottinger should be informed of their Lordships' suggestion, that, as far as Revision is now being made for one Third of the Expense by private contribution, the remaining two Thirds might be defrayed from the local resources.
