The money had never been paid, and the defectant consequently hold the timber.
On behalf of the plaintiff it was contended that the money was obtained for one Wong Amow, a contracter who was doing same build. ing work for Mr, Musse, ut s house at Pokfolum. The defence urged that Mr. Masso would not hare paid this money to the contractor, as he was not entitled to it under the contract, and
