A strange scous was (says tho Bangalore Focne of wind...... Spectator) witnessed on the 15th January in Wosthor Bangalore. A donkey grazing in the dry bad | Ru of the Sumpangi Tank suddenly, began to got through some extraordinary antics, evidently in great terror. Something had got into one of Its nostrils, and the poor boost was trying in-: effectually to remove it. It was discovered that s small cobra had wrigled itself into the donkey's nasa. A crowd of natives chilected roand the spot, but did not attempt to help the poor animál out of his trouble; but a European soldier, an artillerymsa, passing by, and attracted by the crowd, laid hold of the donkey and pelled the make out and killed it. The donkey was hittin, but our informant does not my if he is dead.
