Her Majesty's Steam Vessel Driver having afforded a passage from Macao to Bock Tigris and back to Macao to His Excellency between the 7th and 9th of October last and again from Macao to Hongkong on the 13th of the same month by my order
I am commanded by the Commissioner of the Admiralty to request you whether Lord Stanley is of opinion that the expense of this entertainment on board the Driver should be paid by the Public
