Owing to stress of weather had to anchor in Amo 21 hours, and at Bias Bay 20 hours.

The American ship C Sargent reports had light winds from Cardid to Cape of Good Hopes heavy gales from Capa to 500 miles East of St. Paul's Island; stove forward house and carried away tgpsail yard; light winds from Et.
