Keying, a Member of the Imperial Clan,

High Imperial Commissioner,

Governor General of Kwang tung and Kiangsi, sends the following reply.

Ching, the Acting Governor of Kwangtung and Kiangsi, transmitted the Communication of your

Honorable Envoy, in which it was stated that Thintat, one of the leading perpetrators of the robbery of the money belonging to the British Government, and the murderer of the soldiers, had been apprehended, confessed on being interrogated,

and given the names and

Abodes of his accomplices.

On examining this call, I find

a report of these circumstances containing this information,

had been forwarded by the Commandant of

Yaepang.
