I am directed by the Earl of Aberdeen that you will move Lord Stanley to have the goodness to communicate to His Lordship a copy of the Instructions under Her Majesty's Royal Sign Manual which accompanied the Commission granted by Her Majesty to Sir Henry Pottinger as Governor of Hong Kong.
Her Lordship Aberdeen concludes that Her Majesty's Instructions to Sir Henry Pottinger's successor will correspond with those given to Sir Henry Pottinger
