PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS, by certain Colonial Regulations it is provided that no Memorials can be received by the Governors of Her Majesty's Colonies unless couched in proper and respectful language, and WHEREAS, a Memorial has been sent in of a character directly opposed to respect for the constituted Authorities of this Colony it has been returned to the Memorialists.
THIS IS TO GIVE NOTICE, that all Memorials or Petitions properly and respectfully worded will be received by the Governor and Council, and full consideration shall be given to the same.
GOD SAVE THE QUEEN.
