The same Council approved the report and Estimate of the proposed Registrar General's office, and the sum of 4900 dollars was voted for the purpose; likewise, the Land Officer's recommendation that a sum of $600 should be expended on the buildings called the "Albany" in drains and water Courses.
Those works which are connected with the public health and convenience and which Your Lordship has instructed me to carry out are in full progress, and I beg herewith to forward three reports and Estimates for building culverts to the aggregate amount of dollars 25,919; and another for improvements to the Queen's Road, Dollars, 1650.
