In compliance with the
Instructions under Her Majesty's Sign Manual, I have the honor to forward
the Minutes
of
the
complete copies of Legislative, and Executive Councils of this Colony from the
24 January to the
30th June 1844.
In the earlier part of these
there seems no sufficient distinction
between the functions of the two
Councils, which
are
since my arrival,
blended; but the 8th May
the
preserve
I
I have endeavoured to
separation.
