I regret to say that the serious illness of Mr Montgomery Martin, the Treasurer of this Colony since the latter end of last month, supervening on considerable previous indisposition, has entirely incapacitated him for the duties of his office and I find the utmost difficulty in providing a proper person in his place to arrange and carry on the Colonial Accounts.
