I have received
and had under my
Consideration, Prod Pottinger, despatch of
the 28 Nov. No 26 on
the
subject of the granting a sum of money out of the public Revenue towards the
establishment of a Colonial Hospital. The establishment
has been commenced in
consequence
of a
donation from a private
individual.
I acknowledge
the
importance of subject, but it seems to me impossible to come to a decision upon it without further information.
