They both concur in representing that his stay here during the approaching hot season, would be attended with great risk, and that change to a colder climate is essential to the restoration of his health.
The Salary attached to the Office of Surveyor General is $1000 a year, which he has received up to the 31st March, according to the Certificate of the Colonial Treasurer, of which I herewith inclose a Copy.
