With reference to Your Lordship's Despatch No 27, enquiring about the amount of £4411.4.51 supplied in Stores from Her Majesty's Ship Blenheim for Colonial use, I have ascertained from Henry Fittinger that the sum in question was the amount of charge for erecting and fitting a Flag-staff in front of the Government House;

under the circumstances I apprehend that it comes clearly under
