Referring to my despatch No:44. of this date, I have the honor to forward to Your Lordship a Copy of a letter dated the 23rd of December, 1843 from A. Stewart to my address accompanied by the Accounts of the Colony of Hongkong for the Quarter ending the 30th of September, 1843.
I have purposely deferred transmitting these Accounts to Your Lordship, until I have at least, the means of submitting an Abstract of those preceding them.
