Finding great and unexpected difficulties in the way to any entering expens duties of Deputy Post Master here, may I beg you to mention my present situation for the kind consideration of His Excellency. I find, that I am not only unable to meet with even any House or Office of even any description at present; but am also unable to procure temporary lodgings. I find too, that the division of labor is too great, the rents of Houses so enormously high, and all Expences, and the business of the Officer so different to what was calculated upon.
that when I state my Salary is to be only £300
