Despatch No: 14 of the 15th of November I have
the honor to say that I see no
objection
whatever to Her Majesty's Exequatur being
issued in favor of Mr. Waldron, the
United States Consul:
Mr. Waldron was
introduced to me
very lately by Commodore Kearny(?) of the United States Ship of War Brandywine and I gave him
my verbal sanction to his entering
upon his duties as Consul pending the receipt of Her Majesty's Commands.
